  • Most people would never spend eight hours standing with bad posture — yet that’s exactly what happens when you sleep.

The Modular Pillow® keeps your body in a clinically supported 45° side tilt, the same position many try to build with stacked pillows, now held securely in place all night.

It relieves pressure, reduces joint strain, and adapts to your body whether you’re hypermobile, recovering from surgery, or sleeping through pregnancy.

If you are currently sleeping with multiple pillows around your body that help get you comfortable for the night, this pillow system is likely to help.

The Modular Pillow is a therapeutic sleep positioning system designed to maintain a consistent, supportive posture during rest. It provides structured alignment from head to ankles by stabilizing the body at a clinically established 45° angle. This position has been shown to reduce mechanical stress on joints, improve airway patency, and minimize strain on musculoskeletal structures. Unlike conventional pillows, the Modular Pillow was engineered to address diverse medical needs.

    • For pregnant and postpartum individuals, the system facilitates safe side-sleeping by providing abdominal support for the growing uterus, reducing lumbar strain, and maintaining hip and pelvic alignment. After delivery, it offers support for abdominal and pelvic structures during the recovery period, where excessive rotation or collapse into poor posture can aggravate pain.
    • In patients with Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome (EDS) or generalized hypermobility, the pillow stabilizes joints and minimizes the risk of subluxations or dislocations during sleep. By maintaining the spine, shoulders, and hips in neutral alignment, it decreases episodes of nocturnal pain associated with joint laxity and repetitive strain.
    • For individuals with fibromyalgia, the consistent support reduces allodynia and mechanical stress that can exacerbate widespread pain. By decreasing the need for frequent repositioning, the system contributes to improved sleep continuity, which as many patients know first-hand, is critical for symptom management.
    • Following orthopedic (knee, shoulder, hips, etc.) or spinal surgery, the pillow helps protect healing tissues by limiting unintentional rotation or compression. Proper positioning reduces tension on surgical sites, decreases localized pressure, and supports functional recovery.
    • Patients with POTS or other autonomic disorders benefit from the semi-reclined, angled posture, which can improve venous return, minimize orthostatic intolerance during rest, and reduce nighttime cardiovascular stress.
    • In cases of chronic pain, scoliosis, or arthritis, the Modular Pillow reduces biomechanical loading on affected joints, maintains spinal alignment, and prevents pressure point formation. This contributes to reduced stiffness upon waking and less exacerbation of musculoskeletal discomfort.
    • For those with sleep disorders, particularly individuals with comorbid musculoskeletal or systemic conditions, the system promotes stable sleep posture and minimizes interruptions caused by discomfort or malalignment.

If your condition isn't listed above, reach out to us or check our FAQ to see if Modular Pillow is right for you.

    • 1 Octagon Head Pillow — Keeps your neck aligned and posture consistent; its unique shape prevents your arm placement from lifting the corner of your pillow causing neck strain and "dead-arm" sensations.
    • 2 Side Pillows with Arm Support Zones — Built with a 45° tilt to keep your body gently supported and stable through the night.
    • 1 Arm Pillow — Cradles your shoulder into its socket and provides a calming, hug-like sensation for anxiety relief.
    • 2 Full-Leg Pillows — Support your knees and ankles while aligning your hips for full-body stability.
