Starting February 1st, Modular Pillows are shipped with buttons. This Arm Pillow uses velcro to attach (preferred by some for extra modularity). Button Arm Pillows are not available yet.
The Arm Pillow is a soft but supportive sleep pillow designed for side sleepers who experience shoulder, arm, chest, or rib discomfort at night. It provides a stable place for your arm to rest so your shoulder can relax instead of collapsing forward.
Many customers purchase the Arm Pillow as a standalone solution. Others use it as part of the Modular Pillow full body alignment system. Both uses are fully supported.
Key Benefits
-
Protect Hypermobility Joints
Shields your shoulder and brachial plexus from nightly subluxations and strain. Especially helpful for EDS and hypermobile bodies that need extra stabilization during sleep.
-
Orthopedic Pressure Relief
Cradles your arm in a relaxed open packed position to off load pressure from the shoulder, elbow, and forearm while side sleeping.
-
Medical Grade Comfort
Made from the same high resilience hypoallergenic foam used in the Modular Pillow system. Soft enough for rib comfort while still providing structure.
-
Versatile Use
Can be used completely on its own or attached to either side of the Modular Pillow system for customized support in any sleep posture.
-
Stays Comfortable All Night
Designed to stay in place better than a regular pillow so your arm does not slide off or collapse as you move.
-
Easy Care and Eligibility
Removable cover is machine washable. FSA and HSA eligible.
Standalone Use
Many side sleepers buy the Arm Pillow by itself as a simple way to reduce arm numbness, shoulder pain, or rib pressure. It works especially well for people who naturally hug a pillow at night but want something that actually supports them back.
Part of the Modular Pillow System
The Arm Pillow was originally designed as a core component of the Modular Pillow full body alignment system. When used together, it helps prevent shoulder collapse and maintains a more stable and comfortable side sleeping position throughout the night.
Using Two Arm Pillows
Some customers choose to add a second Arm Pillow to create a cocoon like feel or to support frequent side switching during sleep.
